Vol. 1

JeanMarc Yaghi

The concept of artificial intelligence (AI) is also taking over corporate governance as it makes organizations more transparent, more efficient in decision-making, and more efficient in managing risks. This paper will look into the ways in which the AI technologies can be implemented in the governance frameworks to enhance monitoring, compliance, and strategic control. Machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics are AI tools that enable firms to test big data, identify anomalies and assist in board-level decisions. The study compares the use of AI to minimize agency, enhance accountability, and enhance internal controls. It also underlines such issues as ethical issues, privacy of data, and algorithmic discrimination. The evidence indicates that AI makes governance more efficient and more accurate, however, it needs effective regulatory frameworks. The paper concludes that AI is going to be the key of the contemporary corporate governance mechanisms.
